Combating Malaria in Uganda

boy with malaria medication Today Uganda faces an urgent challenge in the form of malaria, a deadly but preventable disease that kills an African child every 30 seconds. Malaria accounts for up to half of all hospital admissions and outpatient visits. Despite the magnitude of the problem, there are some simple and cost-effective solutions. CHF and our Uganda partner are currently working on a two prong strategy; to combat this scourge.
